An aerial photo of the US taken from space showing how bright electricity has made us
Alice in Wonderland

Hail! O’ Astronaut, searching out worlds novel Look no further than your observer down At life held by electric-fever-woe, And be witness to the upside-down frown. Your palm does hold the hearts of many people Surviving nude atop the spider’s thin web: “All hail the nameless god, this bright steeple,” As passions, like tidal waves, push. Or ebb. A steady sight reveals their fortunes high Before mighty Time, the trier, shows them loosed And topples their eye towers masked in disguise To lend sobriety to the soul soused. Watch the flame that you don’t get lost in gaze For hell is just a worldly mental maze. -MMF
